A great Film to watch.	The Greek Tycoon Loosely based on the story of Greek shipping magnate, Onassis and his romance with Jackie Kennedy. Great scenery and music score.

Clash of the Titans The Greek Mythological story of Perseus, a demigod, who doesn't know that Zeus is his father, and his adventures with creatures from Medusa to the Kraken! Great special effects.	Captain Corelli's Mandolin Nicholas Cage plays a friendly Italian, music loving Captain, stationed on a Greek island during WWII. A beautiful love story that overcomes war and tragedy. Highly recommended.	Tempest Loosely based on Shakespeare's The Tempest, an American, fed up with his life, decides to go to Greece and finds himself again in the simple, magical beauty of Greek life! A great cast.

Eleni In English, set during the Greek civil war 1946-49, it is a tragic and heroic story of Eleni, a mother, who helped her son escape to a better life in America, and by doing so, was killed by the Communists.	Mediterraneo [Import, All Regions] - English Subtitles Beautiful film set during WWII. Small group of Italian soldiers are left on a small Greek island. Great film capturing the spirit and nature of island life in Greece. Highly recommended.	Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief A great fantasy adventure film about a teenager, who’s just found out he’s the son of Poseidon and has been accused of stealing Zeus’ lightning bolt! Great film for young and old!

For Your Eyes Only Classic James Bond film with Roger Moore, filmed around the Greek island of Corfu.	Benji: For the Love of Benji Benji gets lost whilst in Athens and tries to find his way home to his family, and ends up being chased by the bad guys! Some great scenery of Athens from the 1970's!	The Guns of Navarone (Collector's Edition) Set during WWII on a small Greek island, the film was shot in Rhodes, Greek scenery.

The following films are in Greek language, with English Subtitles, many of them are classics in Greek Cinema.

Never on Sunday 1960 with Melina Mercouri, Highly recommended. An American in Athens, makes friends with a fun loving, independent prostitute with a heart of gold. An all time classic with Greek bouzouki music setting the scene.	Rembetiko: Special Edition Follows a Greek singer from a poor background, singing in the backstreet taverns of Piraeus. An awesome soundtrack. A classic in Greece.	Stella Melina Mercouri, follows the story of Stella, a singer, set in Athens, with some wonderful scenery. Received worldwide recognition as a classic film.

Iphigenia 1977 In Greek, English subtitles starring Irene Papas	A Touch of Spice 2010, Fanis has a passion for food and cooking, taught to him by his grandfather who owned a spice shop. Follows the struggles and trials of this family to stay together, to be happy and to follow their passions.	The Last Homecoming 2008 In Greek with English subtitles, shot in Cyprus, it is a story of passions, desire, betrayal and war.

Pandora 2006 In Greek with English subtitles	A Sea Apart 2004 Follows two parallel stories, one of a young Greek girl and her romance with a young American tourist, and the other of a Greek woman, who many years earlier fell in love with an American and followed him to live in America.

Some of the older films show a part of life in Greece that no longer exists, scenery of Athens in Never on Sundays or Stella, for example that has changed forever.

Some of the movies are in Greek, with English subtitles, these are classic Greek films, with well renowned stars such as Melina Mercouri or Irene Pappas.
